TGIF – and I’ve only have two more workouts and runs under my belt to round out the week. Again. Outside of my proposed schedule because it never fails where I don’t create an excuse.
This week, I *kind of* had a legit excuse because I came down with a cold. I rarely get colds or the flu *knock on wood* or sick so leave it to the one week where I am clear of excuses to nail me from going for a run….
My option is to squeeze in a workout on Friday and Saturday of this week to leave a decent track record if I want to feel remotely ready and strong for my next race. What is commendable is my ability to push when I can’t or maybe I shouldn’t because I know, deep down, I would regret it. I don’t want to have anymore regrets.
